Hello, my name is Bobby. I am a Master’s-level Registered Social Worker with over a decade of clinical experience in Mental Health and Addictions services. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, allowing me to serve many different groups of people.

I have received extensive clinical training and gained hands-on experience in various therapeutic modalities. This enables me to effectively treat a wide range of mental health and addiction challenges. As a therapist, I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all clients. My counseling style is humanistic and strengths-based. I see myself as a curious co-traveler on your journey, and I believe you are the expert of your own lived experience.

I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is fundamental to successful therapy, and I make this my central focus. I build this connection through radical genuineness and humor.

I am offering my services because I believe in the importance of the Farm Talk Care program. As a proud New Brunswicker, I feel it is crucial that we, as a community, support our farmers and their families in any way we can. I offer my services as a way of giving back and acknowledging the importance of the daily work and sacrifice farmers make.

Clinically, I am confident in my ability to form relationships with people from various walks of life, which I have successfully demonstrated throughout my career. I also have specific experience working with farmers from my time as an Outpatient Mental Health Clinician in Sussex, NB, “Dairy Town,” from January 2017 to February 2020. My time there provided me with a valuable education on the specific stressors that farmers face.

I would be happy to connect with you for a free 30-minute consultation to see if I might be the right fit for you. If not, I hope you find a therapist who can provide the support you are seeking.

Clinical Specialization:

As a gender-queer practitioner, my private practice is dedicated to ensuring that members  of the queer, trans, and gender-diverse communities have access to specialized mental   health and addictions services. My work aims to address the general lack of professional  counseling and support for these minority communities, as well as for their families and loved ones.

I offer clinical assessment, intervention, and supporting documentation for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). I also provide psychological surgical readiness assessments based on the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) Standards of Care. As a professional member of WPATH, I have completed both the foundational and advanced mental health training they offer. I am here to support anyone who is struggling or questioning their sexuality or gender identity.

Together, we can break the stigma and strengthen support for those who feed New Brunswick.
